Timeless Traditions is a high-end Hallmark Gold Crown Store which in addition to traditional Hallmark products also sells name brand products such as Yankee Candles and Vera Bradley interior design. After experiencing a number of shoplifting events, costing several thousand dollars, Carol Keplinger, Owner, searched for a business security company that could provide a solution that would help alleviate the shoplifting yet still be within her budget.

After a thorough review by Midwest Digital Systems, they went to work designing an analog camera system, including zoom-pan-tilt cameras and digital recorders adequate to monitor all areas of this unusually large Hallmark store. By strategically placing cameras near the front of the store, they are even able to view the parking lot and can record license numbers.

Now that the system has been installed, Timeless Traditions has seen their shoplifting drop dramatically, even so much as to get some of their product back. Thefts of the higher priced Yankee Candles and Vera Bradley products has dropped to near zero. They still have incidents of shoplifting but they now know how to handle those circumstances and are able to stop the event in progress or provide valuable information to law enforcement personnel
