Midwest Digital Systems (MDS) began operations under this name on January 1, 2007.
For the 12 years prior to this, they operated under the name of Ultra Camera Systems, LLC, but always positioning themselves as a high quality, but “best value” business security company, designing, installing and servicing the following:

• Business Security Camera Systems
• Key Card Access Systems
• Door Intercom Video

Their goal from their inception has been to grow the business slowly and methodically, establishing processes and procedures based on their experience, and putting into place a firm foundation to handle future growth.  This has meant a concentrated focus on the details and handling each customer one at a time.  The result has been solid revenue growth as well as an installed base of customers who are extremely happy with the service that MDS has provided.

Through the years MDS initially established themselves firmly in the Education market which would compromise K-12th grades, becoming one of the top three video surveillance service providers in the state of Missouri. With most of this growth occurring through referrals, they are now rapidly growing their base of customers in State & Local Government, Retail, Manufacturing, Distribution and Retirement Communities throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area as well as the Midwest.  We currently operate throughout the states of Kansas and Missouri as well as sections of Iowa and Nebraska.
